“A place to have fun and get muddy.”
That’s all we wanted to create when we got the keys to 604 Josephine Street in the Spring of 2023. Less than a year later, the club has blossomed to 15 members with 3 instructors leading everything from date nights and hand-building workshops to after-school programs and private lessons.
Memberships are available to those who have completed one of our multi-week classes or have had similar experience at another studio.
In addition to being a studio space, we also offer retail hours for you to purchase pieces made at MUD. The shop is open Wednesday-Saturday every week from 11am-3pm.
MUD is fully equipped with:
✷ 5 Shimpo pottery wheels
✷ A Skutt KM 1027 kiln firing at cone 6 (glaze) and cone 06 (bisque)
✷ 2 large working tables
✷ A variety of hand tools
✷ Community throwing and trimming tools
✷ An outdoor green space
✷ A bright and airy creative energy
We also have 2 air purifiers, heat and A/C, a fridge, and a kettle (with coffee and tea for all).
