Cancellations
We require at least 10 days notice to cancel any class or event. Notice must be given via email. After this point, refunds, credits, or schedule changes are not possible. A $30 administration fee applies to all cancellations, regardless of time frame. If you choose a credit rather than a refund, the admin fee is waived.
Cancellations due to illness or injury:
When you purchase a class, you are taking the risk that you might be sick or injured on the date of your class. While we understand that illness and injury are outside of your control, they are also outside of ours. We are a small business, and we are not able to give refunds or reschedule due to last-minute illness or injury. If you are sick, please do not attend your class. For hand-building workshop events, you are welcome to send friends in your place, we just ask that you first email us to arrange.
Make-Up Classes/No Shows
It is very important to ensure you can commit to all of the dates for a multi-week course before you sign up. Make-up classes are not offered at this time. Refunds and make-up classes are not offered to no-shows. Remember to mark your calendars with your class, workshop or event dates.

What should I bring?
Wear clothing that is comfortable and OK to get muddy. Clay and glaze materials typically wash out of clothing but we cannot guarantee that it will. Our workshops and lessons include all materials, supplies, and tools. Snacks and beverages are never a bad idea, which brings us to…
Is it OK to eat or drink in the studio?
YES! It's cool and encouraged for you to bring a beverage or a snack to enjoy at MUD. We also provide coffee, tea or sparkling water.
What else should I consider?
For safety reasons, long hair should be tied back, all jewelry should be removed, and long nails should be trimmed (for wheel lessons).
How long does it take for my workshop pieces to be ready for pick-up?
Typically 4-6 weeks, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer (though we do our very best to have your pots finished within 6 weeks, and will let you know of any extenuating circumstances that may lead to delays). We will contact you via the email you provided at sign-up to inform you of our pick-up hours.
