Private Wheel Lessons
Single Lesson
One 2.5-hour lesson with private instruction. Includes unlimited clay and all tools, aprons, sponges, kiln firings, and glazes. Keep up to 5 pieces.
Learn to wedge, centre, and throw cylinders (bowls, cups, etc.). Pieces will be trimmed and glazed after the lesson by MUD staff.
Choose from a wide variety (25+) of glaze colours to finish your piece(s). Lessons include a demo, hands-on instruction, and guidance.

6 or 8 Week Lessons
Weekly 2.5-hour lessons with private instruction. Flexible to suit your schedule - evening or daytime. Includes unlimited clay and all tools, aprons, sponges, kiln firings, and glazes. Keep as many pieces as you like.
Learn to wedge, centre, and throw cylinders (bowls, cups, etc.). Trim, decorate, glaze, and make handles for your items.
As these are private lessons, the courses can be uniquely tailored to your interests, skills, and learning styles. Whether you want to learn the basics, expand your throwing skills, or work on certain techniques to accomplish a specific project, we will work with you to further your pottery journey.
Once your lessons are booked we will discuss previous clay experience and goals for the course.

Skill-Building Session
1-hour private sessions for members or current students. Book time with one of our talented instructors to advance and build skills. These sessions are uniquely tailored to whatever you need assistance with.
This offering is meant to help you brush up on your practice, problem-solve consistent issues, or work through a new throwing/trimming/glazing skill.
$45/hour
Private Hand-building Workshops
Bring your team, family, or friends to our studio and share the fun of creating with clay. We can accommodate up to 8 participants spread out over two 3x5-foot tables. There is a 4-person minimum to book this option.
The workshops are approximately two hours long. We’ll start with a quick studio tour, followed by demonstrations of hand-building techniques to get you started on your project. Your group will decide what to make ahead of time based on options sent to your main contact via email.
Your instructor(s) will guide you through the process from lump of clay to finished masterpiece. Everyone will then pick their favourite glaze colour and our team will finish them for you. Your pieces will be ready to pick up in 3-4 weeks.
This workshop is great for team-building, birthday celebrations, stags & stagettes, or to spend quality time with family and friends.
Private events can be scheduled any day of the week. However, our studio is a busy place and we recommend booking at least a month in advance, if possible.
The price listed is per person and includes all materials, tools, and aprons.
