Sunday afternoons in Jan/Feb --- 8 Week Intermediate Wheel Throwing Course

$479.00
sold out

Sundays from 4:30-7:00 pm, January 12th - March 2nd with Birch Matkowski.

You can throw a cylinder or bowl on your own - now you're ready to build on those skills.

This course will build on foundational wheel throwing techniques. Each student's learning will depend on their skill level entering the class.  Students must be able to comfortably throw 500 gram cylinders and bowls. Students may focus on refining their cylinder skills by exploring taller and more narrow forms, or move on to larger bowls, narrow neck bottles, vases, lidded forms and/or plates. Our instructor Birch will take demonstration requests based on the group's preferences and abilities.

Small class size of 5 students per course means more hands-on instruction for you! (Many classes have 6-8 students).

Students may access our studio during the course to practice skills, up to 2 hours per week (without instruction).

Includes all supplies: firings, studio glazes (over 25 options), underglazes, use of tools and unlimited clay.

Age 16+ (please see our after school and teen specific programs, or book a private class for groups of 4+ kids).

All students are required to sign a liability waiver before the start of class.
